We also offer the opportunity to self-fund for the additional hours

The mixture of full time and part time will depend on the demand from our community. Please use the application form that can be found in this section to apply for a place.

Children are eligible to join the Nursery at the beginning of the autumn term (September) following their third birthday. If a space becomes available during the year we will offer to the waiting list but parents should be aware that we have no guaranteed intake other than in September.

Our admissions criteria follow those operated by Richmond Local Authority. Places are offered in this order:

2. Children with a 'Statement'

3. Children who have siblings in the school

4. Children of staff who work at Chase Bridge

5. Proximity of home to the Nursery

Deadline for applications for September should be received by the 7th March, 2025.  Offers will be made in May. If you need to apply after this deadline please contact the school directly.

Entry to the Nursery does not give you a right of entry to the School. You must apply through your local borough for your child to join the Reception year.

Further information on Nursery admissions is available on the Achieving for Children website.

Please complete our online nursery admission form for entry September 2025.  Please note that your application must include a copy of your child's birth certificate and a recent (within three months) utility bill.  Both these documents need to be posted to the School Office at Chase Bridge Primary School, Kneller Rd, Twickenham, TW2 7DE.  We will not be able to process your application without these two supporting documents.

Reception Admissions

Chase Bridge Primary School is maintained by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and follows its policy on admissions. The school is open to any child in the age range of 4+ to 11. Please contact your local authority, Richmond or Hounslow, for further information.

As the school is often oversubscribed, it is not possible to guarantee a place to all applicants. If you are unsuccessful in gaining a place for your child, you may appeal the decision of the admissions authority. Please click here for more information regarding appeals and the appeal deadline.

Parents with young children should refer to Richmond’s official guidance notes on starting school. Once you have been offered a place for your child to start at Chase Bridge, you will be invited to visit for a New Parents' evening and will also be offered a home visit in September before your child starts school. If at any time you have any questions, however small they may seem to you, please do call the school office.

Children admitted to the Reception year are given opportunities to visit before they start school. During these times they are able to familiarise themselves with their surroundings and get to know their teachers.

The school endeavours to ensure that children with disabilities can be admitted and play as full a part in school life as possible. The school governors have approved a disability access plan and policy. There are ramps at all entrances, three disabled toilets and a soundfield system in the hall.
